Color Your Wardrobe

Do you ever slow down and capture the joy and essence of color?

Mindfully, I often find myself doing this at 6th & Broadway and I hope I can encourage you to do the same, wherever you might be.

Let me share with you a few color-minded women who recently inspired me…

My reflective color adventure began this past July when I met Marilyn in 6th & B. She and her hubby were my day brightener! Marilyn couldn’t have been more colorful! Her joyous personality was evident through conversation and then ultimately expressed by her colorful attire and accessories. (And to add to the pleasure, it just so happened to be her birthday.)

I captured a couple fun photos of Marilyn, knowing words would never describe what I wanted to share with you. Isn’t she simply stunning!

Then about a week later I met Lynda and found her so delightful and fun to style, along with her daughter Amy. The two are the cutest mother-daughter shopping duo!

As I got to know Lynda more, I realized that color was her key to keeping herself forever young at heart. When Amy chose this black fun color-dot sweater for her Mom it was only the start… by adding this colorful Tagua necklace, we all knew the look was totally Lynda! Isn’t she absolutely adorable!

(A piece of advice from Lynda that I truly believe is important to share: “As you age you need to add color to your wardrobe.”)

Next I met Anita, another 6th & B customer, who colored my world on a recent Saturday. Her fun colorful top was striking on her and of course this struck up a fun conversation and even a photo to share. (Fun tidbit about Anita: She isn’t new to boutique shopping and apparel selection for she is a previous boutique owner.) Isn’t she completely color captivating!
